Building a Wordpress based website on localhost using XAMPP, and am hitting a problem of every refresh to the main webpage taking (at least) 7-8 seconds to load.
Aside from a few layout images (and no content), the website is not large as I've just started. From what I've read others have had a similar problem with no solution as of yet.
Any possible solutions for this issue?
